Dear Parents,

Welcome to KIDS AT WORK

Here we go!!

Rockets!!!

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to build one of these rockets. All you'll need is: used cardboard, toilet  paper tube, cellophane, watercolor and a big dose of creativity.

1.- Use a aluminum tube or toilet paper tube for the body of the rocket.

2.- Cut three fins out of corrugated cardboard, and then cut three slits into lower part of tube.

3.- Apply glue to straight edges of fins, and slide them into tube slits; secure fins with cellophane while glue dries.

4.- To make nose of ship, you can use a old CD. Trace with a pen the circumference of  CD on a piece of cardboard and cut out the circle. Then fold it into a cone; secure with glue and tape.

5.- Glue the nose of the rocket to top of the body and ready to fly.
